That is the whole organising idea, and for a country with this many first languages it is a better one than a list of fetishes would be — you arrive somewhere people are already talking the way you talk.

Anonymity is the stated selling point. The site argues that rival chat services expose who you are and require an account before you can do anything, and offers itself as the alternative: no registration, straight into the room, with image sharing available inside. It then links to four of those named rivals in its own footer, which is a curious thing to do immediately after criticising them.

Entry is free, a blog and a contact page sit alongside, and a live-cam promotion runs in the navigation.

Text chat with strangers and no accounts means no reputation, no history and no recourse, so the anonymity cuts in both directions — it protects you from the room and the room from you. Anyone sharing images should read that sentence twice.
