Those are stories written to be picked up and linked to by news sites, and directly above them sits a strip headed with the places the app has been featured. The blog is a link-building operation, and recognising it as one explains most of what the front page is doing.

The product beneath it is a character generator sold in six steps — create an account, mix and match an appearance, choose a personality, generate, chat, upgrade for more. Pricing is published and simple, at $9.99, $19.99, $49.99 and $99.99 a month, with tokens as the in-app currency. A referral scheme pays a hundred tokens for a signup, and a daily claim bonus rewards returning; both are restricted to paying users.

The navigation names three sibling products, and account creation can run through a Google or Patreon login. A complaints and content-removal page exists, as does a published roadmap — more accountability furniture than this category usually carries.
