Some sites want you aroused. This one mostly wants you to react.

DaftPorn collects extreme, bizarre and outright comic clips — the pitch is content you have not seen before, and the front page bears that out with the kind of titles that are punchlines rather than descriptions. Wait for it, as a category, tells you the intended experience: these are clips built around a turn, watched once, sent to someone else.

Submissions come from visitors. There is a submit link in the top-level navigation, which explains both the range and the unevenness — nobody is commissioning this, so quality is whatever arrived that week. Alongside the video there are photo galleries, an animated section and a live-cam tab that behaves like the advertising it is rather than a feature of the site.

Two things follow from the user-submitted model. Provenance is thin, because a clip that turns up in a submissions inbox arrives without a source. And a novelty catalogue ages badly — the same clips circulate for years, so how much is new to you depends entirely on how long you have been online.

Free, ad-supported, and best treated as a curiosity feed rather than a library.
