The word on the landing page is leaks, but the mechanism underneath is more specific than that, and it matters.

A large part of what DesiHub carries is recorded live-streaming sessions — Tango broadcasts and similar — featuring Desi models. On those platforms a live session is a paid, ephemeral transaction: viewers buy in, the performer earns from that room, and when the stream ends the thing they sold ceases to exist. That impermanence is not incidental to the deal. It is what the performer priced.

Recording and re-hosting inverts every part of it. The session becomes permanent, free, and detached from the room it was sold into. Whatever the performer agreed to when she went live, it was not a video file with an indefinite shelf life on a site she has never heard of.

There is also an obvious point about audience. Material produced for a paying regional live audience ends up in front of a general one, and for performers in South Asian markets the exposure risk of that shift is not the same as the file itself.

The site is free and browsable. What it does not have, and cannot have, is any agreement from the people in the recordings that the recordings should exist.
