Hallufox runs AI character chat with image and video generation attached, and it pays users for contributing characters to the platform. That is a content-acquisition strategy: a character library is what makes this kind of service usable, building one in-house is expensive, and paying users to do it is cheaper than commissioning.

It also means the library is shaped by what earns rather than by any editorial view, which tends toward whatever is already popular.

A seventy per cent discount is displayed on the premium tier. Discounts of that size shown as a standing feature are generally the actual price rather than a reduction from one, and the figure struck through is doing marketing rather than describing a rate anybody pays.

A gallery, a discover feed and character creation tools sit alongside the chat.

What is not addressed is data handling. Character chat produces detailed transcripts and nothing on the public pages says what is retained.
