That mechanic is the thing worth understanding about ThotHub, because it changes what the site is. A leak archive that sells access is a shop. One that requires you to contribute material before it lets you further in is a recruitment system: every viewer who wants the good section becomes a supplier, and the catalogue grows because the paywall is denominated in other people's private images.

The targets are specific. The site advertises material taken from streamers and social-media creators — people whose careers are built on a public, non-sexual presence, and whose entire professional identity is the thing being converted into something they never offered.

So the harm compounds in two directions at once. The people in the files did not agree, and the mechanism ensures that anyone who arrives wanting more is pushed toward producing new victims to pay their way in.
