Playboy Plus Review

Two different Playboy products circulate online and it is easy to buy the wrong one.

Playboy Plus is the ongoing subscription: contemporary nude photography and video, Playmates and models, organised by model and category with a latest-updates feed. It is a working paysite producing new material. That is a separate proposition from the scanned magazine archive, which sells six decades of back issues and no new work at all.

What you get here is the house style — glossy, lit, softcore-leaning rather than hardcore — applied to current shoots, with a member area and links across to the brand's television and live properties and its shop.

The brand is the reason to consider it and also the thing to be careful about. Playboy's name attaches to a lot of licensed operations, and a consistent aesthetic across decades is not the same as consistency in what any given membership currently delivers.
