The bounty system is the thing you won't find elsewhere. Users post requests for galleries nobody has uploaded yet, attach a reward, and other users go and find them. It turns the archive into something closer to a collective search effort than a static library.

Around that sits an enormous catalogue — the site puts it above a million galleries — covering doujinshi, manga, cosplay photography and CG sets.

The organising tools are deep for a free site. There's a watched list for tracking specific tags or artists, toplists ranking galleries by several measures, a personal uploads area, and torrents alongside direct reading, which matters for large CG sets that are painful to page through in a browser.

A forum runs alongside the archive and carries much of the tagging and moderation effort.

The interface is severe — dense tables, minimal styling, almost no concession to a first-time visitor. That's a genuine barrier, and it's also why the site works: everything is exposed rather than curated away.

The material is fan-made work and scanlations of commercially published series, redistributed without the original creators being party to it.
