Dark Room VR shoots at 7K and builds its catalogue around scenarios with a darker register — situational, roleplay-driven scenes rather than the general performer-led material most VR studios produce. That focus is the interesting choice. VR's real strength is presence rather than spectacle, and a scene built on situation exploits that better than one built on a performer facing a camera.

Resolution figures need the standing caveat. Seven thousand pixels describes the entire sphere, and the fraction landing in your field of view is a small part of it, so the headline number is not the sharpness you experience. It still matters comparatively — a 7K source beats a 5K one on the same headset.
