The loudest text on the front page is an apology. Four headings in a row — hello fellow furs, we are back online; what happened; what about all the content; how will this be prevented in the future — hand the whole top of the site over to explaining an outage and what it destroyed. A board that leads with its own incident report is telling you its operational history before it tells you its subject.

Beneath that comes the board list: Furries, Furry Comics, Gay Furries, Gay Furry Comics, Intersex, Request & Source, Animated, Cute, The Basement, Ponies, Feral, Cub and Gore, each with a parallel index. Then a general half with nothing to do with the subject at all — Music, Wallpapers, Video Games, Weapons, Technology, Literature and a lounge. Posting rules are published as image posting guidelines and a user guide, both linked at the foot.

There is nowhere to sign up. It states this plainly: you do not have to register, no registration route exists anywhere on it, and every feature is open to guests and returning visitors alike. Anonymity is the default rather than a setting.

Four menu items are worth naming for what they imply — JayCoin, Fap Mode, two theme switches, and a standing Downtime page. That last one is the notable one. A site keeping a permanent page for being offline is a site that expects to be, which reads differently once you have read the apology at the top.
