Strip the branding and this is a conventional consumer VPN with an unconventional adjective attached.

AIVPN sells encrypted browsing across a global server network with browser extensions for Chrome and Edge, priced through a standard tiered plan. The differentiator it leads with is that server selection is handled automatically — the service picks what it judges the fastest and safest endpoint rather than making you choose from a list.

That is a real convenience feature. Calling it artificial intelligence is a marketing decision; automatic server selection based on latency has been standard in this category for years under the name quick connect, and nothing on the public pages describes what, if anything, is different here.

The site also advertises protection against malware, which is a broader claim than encryption and a different technical function. Nothing sets out what that protection consists of or what it has been tested against.

As with every VPN, the security claims are the provider's own and no independent audit is referenced. That matters because a VPN moves your traffic from one party you have to trust to another.

For unblocking a geo-restricted site it will likely do the job. Treat the AI framing as a name rather than a capability.
